velocitty.com is the website for Velocitty, a product of Rillor LLC, a company registered in Delaware, USA, which is responsible for the information described here. Until Velocitty ships the site is one page with one form, and it collects very little. This notice covers the website only; the app will have its own when you can download it.
If you ask to hear when it ships
The “Email me when it ships” form stores your email address, the time you submitted it, and which page it came from. It also stores a short fingerprint of your IP address, made with a secret key, which lets us spot one source flooding the form. We do not store the IP address itself.
We use your address for one thing: a single email when Velocitty is available to download. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter, and we do not sell it or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Where it is kept
Your submission goes from your browser to an endpoint we run on Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1). Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda handle the request, and the address is stored in Amazon S3, encrypted at rest and not publicly accessible. Amazon CloudWatch records whether a submission succeeded; those records never contain your address and are deleted after 14 days.
If we use an email delivery service to send the launch email, your address will be passed to it only to send that message, and this page will name it before that happens.
Everything else
The site is hosted on AWS Amplify. Like any web host, it keeps ordinary technical logs of requests — IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser’s user agent — to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies. Fonts are served from velocitty.com itself, so loading the page contacts no third party. The one thing the site keeps in your browser is whether you chose the light or dark theme, and that never leaves your device.
How long we keep it
We keep your address until Velocitty ships and we have sent that email, and after that only for as long as we need it — or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@velocitty.com from the address you signed up with and we will do it — there is no account to log into. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will update this page before the site starts collecting anything new — analytics, accounts or payments — and change the date at the top when we do. Questions about any of it go to hello@velocitty.com.
